DESCRIPTION


Variations for clarinet and chamber orchestra from 1810. Originally composed for clarinet in C, the solo part has here been transposed up a step so that the soloist can perform on a B-flat clarinet while sounding in the original concert key.  Please note that these are NOT the later and more famous Introduction, Theme and Variations of 1819 for clarinet and orchestra. For that piece, please see item 9780193852631 from Oxford or other editions.
